Friends in low places 2 - 11 of 20It's amazing how they still know one another after nearly 2 years. One day recently, one of the pups, Beaumont, and his human Michele entered the local off-leash park at the opposite end to where Charlee and I were walking. Michele and I talked later about how Beaumont and Charlee both suddenly took off in the direction of one another and quickly found each other. This amazed me! We must have been a good quarter mile apart. What an incredible thing a basset's nose must be! Somehow they know. I have seen Charlee greet other young basset hounds at the park, but she has a special and unique way of interacting with her own family. |
