Friends in low places - 8 of 20
Meet Lily. Lily was rescued in Illinois by Alexandria and her family. Lily was a stray in Springfield, and Alex discovered her on the rescue's website. Alex lives in Indiana, and she says right now it's freezing up there (January 2009), and as Lily hates the snow, she hardly gets to be outside, but according to Alex, Lily is a "crazy girl." Alex and I have a special bond because we are both musicians. Alex plays piano and guitar, and asked me for the sheet music for "A Basset is an Asset." I didn't have any sheet music at the time, so Alex gave me good reason to write the song down. Alex says, "I just love this song! I would love to sing and play the piano/guitar! Thanks again for sharing the love for basset hounds!" Thanks to Alex, we now have sheet music. You can download a copy for yourself to print and play right here.
